Custom Azoic Features

Azoic Homes

Players can claim certain vanilla houses and turn them into their personal safe space. Once a home is claimed, the server tracks ownership, locks doors, saves storage, and keeps the home tied to the player. On server reboot, claimed homes automatically close and lock their doors. You can also set your spawn point to your claimed house. If you die, you will respond at your home.

How it works?

You will need to obtain an azoic house license from the black market trader. Travel to the vanilla home you want to claim with the license in your hand or inventory. Look at the door and use the F slide menu to claim the house.

Notes:

• Make sure you are inside the house, before setting your spawn point. Use an interior door if possible. If you want to spawn outside of your house, while standing outside, look at exterior door of your claimed house, use the mouse wheel to cycle through the F menu and then set your spawn point.
• When accessing your homes storage, be sure to be standing inside your house as well. Stand a little back from the door, look at the door, use your mouse wheel to cycle through the F slide menu and select storage.
• A 1000 slot sea chest will appear on the ground, use tab to place or pull items. Once done, look at the sea chest and use the F menu to save. Once saved, the sea chest will disappear saving your items. You can access your storage any time from your claimed house.
• Your claimed house acts as a respawn point and storage unit that only you can access. Doors auto lock and after every server reboot your house automatically closes its doors and only you can access your house.
• If you leave your doors open and forget to shut your door during that time before a server reboot your house doors remain open and won't shut unless you or a server reboot happens. Which means, if you leave your doors wide open anyone can go into your house.

Azoic Garage

Fuel stations act as vehicle storage points. Players can store, repair, and retrieve vehicles from any fuel station across the map. This makes travel more useful without forcing players to hide cars in random trees and pray nobody finds them.

How it works?

The moment you find a vehicle or buy a vehicle, once you first enter the vehicle on driver side and start it, the vehicle becomes registered to you. Once the vehicle is registered to you, you can drive to any fuel station park your vehicle near the fuel station and access the fuel station F menu. This brings up a custom menu where you can store nearest vehicle, retrieve a vehicle if you have one stored or repair a stored vehicle.

When retrieving a stored vehicle, make sure your hands are empty. Then click retrieve vehicle. A certificate will equip into your hands, using your mouse cursor look and aim at a safe area to spawn your vehicle, press F. For repairing a vehicle you must store it first, then select your vehicle from the menu and click repair. Next time you retrieve that vehicle it will be repaired. As of right now you can store up to 3 vehicles. Limits will increase as needed.

Note:

Your vehicles inventory must be empty before storing your vehicle. The system will not allow you to store a vehicle with items in the vehicles inventory.

Azoic Loot

Vanilla objects around the world become searchable. Trash piles, sinks, cabinets, shelves, and other objects can hide useful loot. This makes looting feel more natural and gives players a reason to search the environment instead of only running building to building.

How it works:

If an item can be searched a hold left click button will appear. If you search and find something a menu will appear of what you found, you can click take all, or choose to take 1 or no items. Once you leave the menu, if you haven't took the items it is gone you will have to try your luck again.

Azoic Guardian

The Azoic Guardian is a custom companion unit that can assist the player in combat. It can attack threats, carry ammo, and support the player in the wasteland. But it comes with tradeoffs. For quests that require the player to kill infected, Guardian kills do not count. The player must make the kill personally.

How it works?

The azoic guardian equips into a custom player slot, when equipped it acts as a storage unit and a custom uav that follows you around and kills infected. You can place the azoic guardian in your hands and hold F to active flight mode, this allows you to remote control the azoic guardian. It has limited range so you cant fly across the entire map but it helps you get a birds eye view of the area. You can fire the azoic guardian in flight mode however it can only kill infected, it will not kill players or ai.

Azoic Mercenary

The mercenary system adds risk to AI companions. If your mercenary dies, you will not get him back until the server reboot. If you die and the server has rebooted, your mercenary may become unbound and roam the world. If you find him before he resets, he may see you as a threat.

How it works:

At the main azoic trader, there is an NPC that allows you to purchase an azoic mercenary, this AI companion follows you everywhere and helps you fight. You can equip it with special gear and use it as a portable storage.

Azoic Jetpack

The jetpack gives players a new way to move through the world. It is built for fast travel, mobility, and tactical movement. It adds a sci-fi edge without turning the server into pure chaos.

How it works:

Equip the azoic jetpack and press H to active it. Use spacebar to go up and C to go down, If you find it does not go down. you may have to go into your options and set your keybinds for crouch to C.

Azoic Hoverboard

The hoverboard is a custom rideable system built for ground movement. It gives players another way to travel while keeping the feel grounded. It is made to be fun, useful, and different from normal vehicles.

How it works:

Place the azoic hoverboard on the ground, look at it and use the F slider menu to select ride hoverboard. Press and HOLD spacebar to hover, use wasd to move.

Azoic Tank

The azoic tank allows the driver to shoot if the grenade pack is loaded. So now players do not need a second player to control the tanks grenade launcher.

How it works:

When driving the azoic tank, open the door to access the inventory, equip the grenade pack into the tank and use SPACEBAR to shoot while in driver seat. Drive the tank with WASD and spacebar to shoot. Up and Down axis use arrow key up and down. To turn the turret use your mouse.
